ICS is bringing in the New Year with the launch of our new Clerical Training Program! This program will provide 3-4 month paid training for clients who are seeking employment in an office setting.
A person who begins working in a clerical position can grow into many marketable and highly employable roles. Clerical training teaches skills in typing, data entry and analysis, and customer service, to name a few. Program graduates will be equipped with the skills they need to be ready for a career, not just a job.
At the end of 2016, we began raising money for the launch of this program, and we are excited to say that we received $7,700 from community partners, friends and families!
This money will go towards purchasing work stations and computers for program participants. It will also fund business casual clothing for participants to wear to interviews and on the job.
