ABOUT THE JOB
This position combines community resource navigation with daily living skills training, partnering with individuals with disabilities as they access services, pursue their goals and build greater independence. A primary focus is supporting Spanish-speaking individuals and families as they understand their options, navigate complex systems and connect with local resources.
You will also provide one-on-one living skills support in homes, schools, vocational settings and the community. Working alongside each individual, you will teach practical skills that support their choices, self-advocacy and participation in everyday life. Your week will include family meetings, resource coordination, community outreach and direct client support throughout Marin County.
This position offers part-time or full-time hours, with pay ranging from $22–$26 per hour, depending on experience and caseload. Shifts are generally 8 hours long, scheduled within the 9 a.m.–7 p.m. window, with both weekday and weekend shifts available. Work takes place at locations throughout Marin County. Specific meeting times and locations are based on each client’s goals, needs and preferences.

DUTIES
Support Spanish-speaking individuals and families with navigating services and community resources
Coordinate referrals and follow up with families, service providers and community partners
Conduct outreach within Spanish speaking communities throughout Marin County, including attending and organizing community events and meetings
Partner with clients to work toward goals related to independent living, education, transportation, domestic skills, socialization, financial skills, personal health, hygiene, and community engagement
Provide in-home, community-based, and educational setting support tailored to individual needs
Independently manage a personal weekly Google Calendar, including scheduling and keeping track of client meetings in person, in the field, and through Zoom
Maintain an accurate daily calendar that reflects client sessions, meetings, travel and other work responsibilities
Communicate with clients, families, and team members regarding scheduling, cancellations, and changes to appointments
Keep detailed progress notes after each session and maintain accurate digital records
Attend meetings with clients, families, schools and collaborating agencies
Participate in staff meetings to discuss cases and brainstorm creative solutions
Model professionalism, healthy boundaries and person-centered support
QUALIFICATIONS
Fluency or high proficiency in Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages
Intermediate computer literacy and comfort using Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive and Google Docs, and Zoom
Ability to independently schedule and coordinate in-person, community-based, and virtual client meetings
Valid identification (Real ID, driver’s license, or passport) required
