What are Tailored Day Services?

What does ICS do?

From employment services, to independent living skills training, ICS offers a broad range of support for people with disabilities. To share a deeper understanding of what services ICS provides, we wanted to spotlight a program in this month’s newsletter that has been supporting our clients reach major milestones-from getting their drivers license, to starting their own business: the Tailored Day Services program offers unique services that engage our clients in the learning and skill development that prepare them for navigating adulthood.

What is the Tailored Day Services (TDS) program?

TDS supports clients (ages 18 and above)  who are served by Golden Gate Regional Center (GGRC) or are private pay clients and want to work toward vocational, educational, or volunteer goals. Clients are focused on achieving employment outcomes. Our person-centered approach provides comprehensive opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and meaningful community engagement. TDS services are a great fit for GGRC clients participating in the Self-Determination Program (SDP).

What is the Self-Determination Program (SDP)?

SDP works with all ages and empowers GGRC clients with choice, control, and flexible funding to access specialized services including TDS across California.
